The Lost Man Booker Prize is Announced!

Longlist of 22 Titles 

Thanks to the investigations of archivist Peter Straus, the Booker Prize Foundation has announced a one-time prize to honour books published in 1970.  These books were excluded from the original 1970 longlist due to changes in the publication date requirement of the award.  Authors and titles included in the Longlist are Melvyn Bragg A Place In England, Len Deighton Bomber, J.G.Farrell Troubles, Margaret Laurence The Fire Dwellers, Iris Murdoch A Fairly Honourable Defeat, Shiva Naipaul Fireflies and Patrick O´Brian Master and Commander.  

The shortlist will be announced in March.
